Is it America's fault?

I have been student teaching at Redbank High School in Chattanooga TN. I have learned much during my experience. I have leaned that thanks to our education system and our media, American students have turned against their country. As I spark up conversation with them they mumble liberal talking points that are anti-American. Tim Robbins was on Bill Mahr the other night and did the usual; American troops have invaded a sovereign nation and have killed over 400,000 Iraqi Citizens. The fact is no where close to 400,000 citizens have been killed. It is much closer to 70,000. And to say that the U.S. soldiers or George Bush have killed them is an outright lie and disgrace! This war saw the fewest civilian casualties in any country takeover of this type that I have ever known of or studied throughout the history of modern warfare. It is the Islamic Fascist in Iraq led by Al Qaeda that is killing everyone!

Keep this in mind, Sadaam could have allowed U.N. inspectors to have unlimited access as he was suppose to do. He could have kept from firing at our planes in the “no fly zone” that we are assigned to keep an eye on for the security of the nation and Middle East. Every main Intelligence agency in the world including most European Nation’s Intelligence Agencies believed he had WMD. Bill Clinton believed it. He signed a resolution calling for his disarmament. Hillary Clinton supported it and said "I voted for that War" when Sadaam was being pulled out of the spider hole and the polls showed that there was great support for the war. We see struggles in Iraq, polls start changing, and she changes with them and does not represent herself with honesty. Democrats claim that Bush pressured our intelligence agencies to concentrate on the evidence against this tyrant and to omit the evidence that is not so solid. Every investigation into such allegations has proven that did not take place. To the contrary, the daily briefings Bush got were more serious than the intelligence those in Congress had access to.

Keep this one last thing in mind. The next time someone tells you that we are causing all the problems in the Middle East, simply put this scenario to them. If tomorrow the Islamic Radicals were to lay down their weapons, not one more person in the Middle East would die from any war. But if tomorrow America and Israel laid down our weapons... there would be another Holocaust and millions of Americans and Israelis would die! It is that simple.
